Established in 1968, The Chattanooga Chase is this area's oldest active competitive road race. The event features an 8k and 1-mile race through the scenic and historic riverview neighborhood on the North Shore.

The 8k race takes place on a legendary local course, known for its challenging hills and breathtaking scenery through one of Chattanooga’s most historic neighborhoods. The top 25 Male and Female winners will receive a special edition Chattanooga Chase shirt! Age group awards will also be given at the conclusion of all race events. (This course is USATF/RRCA Certified 8K Course.)

Join us for the 2nd Extra Mile for Siskin! All proceeds go to support the work of Siskin Children’s Institute! (This course is USATF/RRCA Certified 1M Course.)

Parking 

Parking will be available this year at Girls Preparatory School (205 Island Ave.) which is approximately 0.6 miles from Riverview Park via Young Avenue. Otherwise, parking is limited on-street throughout the North Shore, so carpooling is STRONGLY recommended.

Beneficiary

Net proceeds from this event will benefit the Chattanooga Track Club, a non-profit organization committed to promoting running and fitness in the Chattanooga area. Proceeds from the 1-mile race will support Siskin Children’s Institute, who provides support for children with special needs and their families.

The Chattanooga Chase wouldn’t be possible without our community!
